ABOUT MARCIA

Marcia Renner is a fully certified and Missouri State Licensed Permanent Cosmetic Technician. She has been in practice since 1999 starting in Omaha and recently transferring to Kansas City. Her nursing experience in various areas include: first surgical assistant, labor and delivery, med-surg, and rehabilitation. One hundred percent of her practice is devoted to permanent cosmetics and wrinkle and sun damage removal. SEE: Dermaroller.com system.

AN OUTSTANDING RESUME AND EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND

After completing nursing school and working in acute care hospital nursing for 17 years Marcia was an Instructor of Anatomy & Physiology and Pharmacology at Omaha College of Health Careers. She began her studies in 1983 at the University of Nebraska where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in 1987 in Community and Health Education. Thereafter, Marcia worked as a pharmaceutical sales representative for 14 years. She was with Merck & Co. Pharmaceuticals for 10 years, Bayer Pharmaceuticals as an Antibiotic Specialist, and Endo Laboratories as a Pain Management Specialist.

Marcia studied makeup design and specialized in micropigmentation at the Institute Of Permanent Cosmetics. She completed this in the summer of 1999 and began a four year practice within a plastic surgery office in Omaha. Later she opened a private practice in a State certified inspected facility. In 2003 the College of St. Mary asked Marcia to instruct Pharmacology to relieve a staff member on sick-leave.

Through continuing post-education she completed advanced training in permanent cosmetic art in March 2001 in Tampa, FL. She has persisted at attaining the highest level of permanent cosmetic art training available, achieving full board certification in micropigmentation in 2003. Over the same time period, she has given lectures on more than 50 occasions throughout the Midwest including the Optimist Club, cancer support groups, Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Sorority, hospital in-service, and physician offices.
